First things first

As an administrator, moderator of a server you will have to know what an Id is and should enable Developer Mode on.

What kind of Ids does exist?

An Id is the unique identity of an object. The following list shows you what is important to know in Discord.

• Guild Id

• Channel Id

• Role Id

• User Id

• Message Id

Technical term: Guild is another word for a Discord server.

Enable developer mode

Desktop

Move over to your User Settings 🢒 App Settings 🢒 Behavior and at the bottom, you will find the Chat Behavior section with the Developer Mode option.
